View Full Version : I need help with a choice

Im in year 11 and next year im either going to go to Suffolk College for a catering and hospitality course for 2 years or when im 17 enlist in the US Airforce for 4 years for security personnel for training in that feild and then do the cooking course but only the last year for the proffesional cookery NVQ (which they judge you on an individual basis if youre over 19 so i dont have to do the first year) so i have that qualification too to be a chef so i have 2 options, but should i go straight to the cooking course, or work in airforce security and probably go to the middle east for the war and then do the cooking course?

it all depends...if you agree with and don't have a problem with what the CIC's policies, then by all means, enlist, as that will put you several steps towards your goals including financially...if not, take the 2 year course

Do you really want to go to the middle east?

Yeah I suppose...the two careers I would like to persue are either catering or security/police and airforce security would get me good training (as they advertise at leatst)...and i could use one to fall back on the other...and then theres sixth form, I dont know wether I should do it or not :eek: becuase it wont really help me but still...:confused:
