I joined this forum about a month ago. I was seeking a place to debate on issues specifically with people who disagreed with me, because what's the point otherwise? Since then I've had some good, spirited discussion with folks on here. I wasn't interested in personal attacks or mindless slurs against certain opinions, lifestyles, races, or creeds. I've tried to have rational discussions on things with an open mind, and mostly just ask questions.

However, upon seeing this thread (http://forum.bullshit.com/showthread.php?t=3504) and how it is condoned by the administrators of this forum, I can no longer consciously participate in this community. I know the members of this forum, like much of the internet, are free to say whatever they wish, and you're perfectly in the right to have your own opinions. I just can't see myself being able to have a rational discussion with some of you after that. It is the proverbial "lost cause".
