I know that quite a few of you on here like Robert Jordan's work and wanted to inform you all (in case you didn't know), that a new book has finally been published in his series. I got the book and so far have liked it enormously. Even though it has been written by Brandon Sanderson, he imitates Jordan's writing style really well...I have yet to notice any major differences so if you like the series I recommend this book to you.
Just wanted to let you guys know.;)

Fuck, see what I get for clicking the orange dot besides most forums 90% of the time.
I liked the ending, I'm glad that crap was settled before the book was over or it would have driven me insane waiting for the next book to settle Rand's problem.

yeah...thing is, are you so sure Rand's problem is settled? i mean remember the seanchan prophecy that says he's blind as well...trouble is, every prophecy ever written, including real ones, are so vaguely written you never know if it was meant metaphorically...read the damned thing 5 times now, i wish they'ld hurry with the next one...

The problem I was talking about was the one where he was convinced he would die and clamming up his emotions.
Ok, so just read this with an open mind Hitek...its my prediciton of what will happen, at least for his blindness.
Rand will go blind. - reason for this is his connection with Mordin, you remember how after Mordin channeled the True Power so much that he got the "saa" or "skaa" across his eyes? I believe that is why Rand will go blind, at the moment his vision is just extremely blurry but with the increased amount Mordin channels the True Power, the more blind he will become. And in the part of the book where the Forsaken are meeting, you will remember Demandred noticing Mordin flexing his hand as if it was stiff? Could the reason for this be because Rand's hand was burnt off by Semirhage? Also Mordin had ordered that nobody was to harm Rand, probably because whatever harm Rand recieved, Mordin would also affected by.
Just my ideas, think their close to target?
