Been trying to figure out this dang guitar. Got a few DVD's and Tab books, but damn progression is slower then all shit. Short of actually having a tutor/teacher, is there any decent programs out there that will enhance the learning process.

Unless you're very talented, there's really not much you can do when you're self-taught. You can become mediocre at best. If you put enough effort into it you can eventually figure things out, but an instructor would tell you how to do everything the right way. So I can't really help you.
