Reason, around 20% of all pregnancies end in a miscarriage. So if life does, in fact, begin at conception then god is responsible for terminating that pregnancy early, meaning aborting it.

I, for one, do not believe in god, but there are a majority of pro-life extremists that are christian and do believe in such a thing.

Well, duh. Christians just happen to be the biggest supporters of the pro life movement. They would have accepted abortion if it was their idea first, but since it wasn't they got to be the antagonist in this short story.

Well no. Murder is the willfull death of a human against God's will and according to someone else's will. God doesn't want anyone to murder anyone; if He did, He would not have said "thou shall not commit murder".

For one thing, if there is a god, then yes we are like "robots". god has everything all planned out for us, correct? god has some sort of plan for all of us and according to it, we all follow a certain path that god has already chosen for us, correct? You're looking at A and C and assuming there's a B in between them. This is highly illogical. God created us, period. We did what we wanted to after that. Just because God knows something is going to happen doesn't mean He's ok with it. He just doesn't want to interfere with free will.
