What the hell are peps? For starters one cannot choose to be alternative, not that I am a fan of the label, but basically you are alternative, if you are in the none of the above catagory, which also generally puts you in the same catagory as being a nobody. But if one is bound and determined to call themselves strictly alternative no if ands or buts, then who the hell wants to listen to someone who doesn't even have the balls to say what it is they really are? Oh I don't know what you would call our music. I have a suggestion; crap!

Now onto punk. All in all there are very few decent punk bands out there. Rancid is one of the few. Otherwise, punk is basically a lame copout for people who can't play anything that requires actual talent. Such as myself. I'm not a guitarist, but i could surely wail on some strings one day and bitch and moan about how badly my life sux, and voila, am I punk? I'd sound like it. Kinda like the whole alternative thing... if someone sets out with the goal of being punk, its all in their own mind. Punk is something you already have to be and hey, you could actually play good music, your attitude will do the rest for you and you'll draw the fan base that the other talentless punk wannabe's are so desperate to fit in with.

I hate country by the way. But at least it is what it is. If someone likes to add their own twist to it thats there own perogative, but guess what, they still call themselves country so I give them credit for that.

Bring it on, if anybody is willing to kill someone because they realize how horrible a style of music is, then that anybody needs to be thrown into an asylum. Hell, probably should be thrown into an asylum for liking punk, you gotta be completely insane to even think that that's music, much less GOOD music.
