Jim, most fuckers on here are struggling for one personality, let alone multiples.;)

It's done for money....Specifically from click fraud and affiliate sales....It's all about you clicking on the links they post and in many cases(viagra, nokia, vitamins etc) you purchasing the products on the web sites that the links take you to....

If you have ever looked at my profile and sig you'd know that there are some people who spoil their fun(and profits) :D

I did see that you were into that. I think that is GREAT and I wish there were more of you. I know of some people who respond to the spam email people, who ask for money, and send them running from western union to western union. I wish I had the time. :D

I just find it hard to believe that someone on a forum would fall for that kind of advertising. I mean... you can be a complete idiot and still see the intelligent people on the board's anger and disgust over the bots. All call them call bots a scam and ban them ASAP.

To go through the process of registering and then posting to be banned seems like such a waste.

If you accedentally click the site is there any danger for your computer? I did, I was trying to research the hyperlink and as I copied it, it popped open. Luckily I have sophisticated protection software.

There are many who do what I do though many are not as vocal in the money making forums or as "in your face" as I am :D

Reply to those emails in block letters, in really poor English from the son of some prince or king in some country you never heard of is called "scam Baiting"...It can be rather dangerous if you don't know what you doing so I suggest to anyone even thinking of doing this to get yourself a mentor and learn how to do it safely as you are almost guaranteed to get numerous death threats....The scams themselves are called "419 scams" but there are also dating scams, work scams, ponzi/pyramid schemes(my area of expertise), get rich quick schemes(also my area) and a whole host of other ways that crooks use the internet which is mostly unregulated to make money from suckers...They mostly use non-reversible e-currency such as Liberty Reserve, Perfect-Money and the now defunct E-Gold....Scammers mostly target those in USA, UK and Australia as they see them as easy targets...

LOL..There is a looong list of scammers of out there who want to kill me...The most recent is a Reverend in the USA of all people

Most of the money making scams originate from USA, Canada and UK and they tend to register in places like Panama and Belize in a lame attempt to avoid the alphabet police(FBI, SEC, IRS, RCMP etc) whilst the 419 scams mostly come from Nigeria where they use internet cafes to avoid being traced...

You'd be surprised at how easily people fall for such scams....
LOL...If people didn't fall for these scams then I'd have nothing to do all day:p

To go through the process of registering and then posting to be banned seems like such a waste.

It's all done via a computer program...These bots are programed to target hundreds of forums at once....
There is even a bot that targets forums and hacks into user names that have not been used in ages....It gets the password to the user name then a real scammer(not a bot) uses that name to post....

Never ever click on any of their links....You are 50-50 chance to get a trojan virus from it....
I click on quote post and I get their web site that way and then I use google to get to the actual site....For PC protection I only use adaware which is free to download....But I do scan my PC daily...
