No one may use (post) the photo of another member unless that member posts written permission stating that it is OK to do so.

Otherwise said photos will be deleted and the offending member publicly warned.

Due to recent confusion involving copyright issues, moderator Yee-Haw, known henceforth as the “active authority,” with the help of senior user Phoenix, has decided that the best course of action for this board is to lay out basic fair use law and require a license for every photograph placed on Bullshit.com, henceforth known as “the board.” Photograph is herein defined as any non-text combination of pixels. MATERIALS POSTED ON THE BOARD WITHOUT A LICENSE WILL BE GOVERNED BY THE TERMS OF THE CREATIVE COMMONS ATTRIBUTION-NON-COMMERCIAL SHARE ALIKE 3.0 UNITED STATES LICENSE. BY POSTING PHOTOGRAPHS ON THE BOARD, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS. By posting any photographs on the

I just want to say i think this shit has went too far, I never dreamed there would come a time around here when we would not want to post our pictures, In the real life picture thread i have pictures of my children and myself and if someone goes and photoshops them i think that is just low down and disrespectful.

I have no problem with there being a policy, though I too find it silly we need one. As others have mentioned - we didn't need one when Prometheus's face was blended with a chimp. But now that Freaks face is that of a gay bunny man we do.

Here is my suggestion. Phoenix's idea is a good one. We should all just follow the law. But I would add one thing - kids are off limits. Yee-haw and others (yes, me too) shouldn't have to worry about our kids being attacked. They are not members here and are too young to defend themselves. All healthy adults defend and protect children.

That I would have to see my son and daughters pictures and a veiled threat is heinous. What we did , we did to an adult more than capable of defending himself.

I couldn't even sink to the same level as him if I chose to. He has no kids and I will not alter the photo of his mother or wife -there are some things a moral person just won't do.

I have dealt with numerous insults and slanderous statements I am an adult and know that this is not Disney. But the kids should be left out.

As for our younger members I leave it up to them what they want done with their images. I didn't throw a fit about the use of my image - but a line should be drawn Haw. I know as a dad you understand how I feel.
