Freak Reveals his idea and plan...

Ladies and Gentlemen (and Alien non-human thing-a-ma-jigs) of BS, thank you for attending this thread.

This afternoon, March 21st, 2010, 12 noon, PDT, I am here to reveal my long anticipated FreakPLAN.

And, without further delay fellow BS members, here it is…

Given the sad crappy state affairs here at BS over the past year or longer it is obvious that there is no possible way it will ever be that long sought after reasonably peaceful BS we all long for and miss if BS continues as it has.

So, having taking the time to mill over one solution after another, such as more rules, more mods, more this or that (hell, even more beer, women and song), I have come to one singular conclusion. To restore BS back to what it once was all members must embrace…

The solution;

THERE MUST BE A TOTAL BREAK FROM THE PAST. IT MUST BE ABSOLUTE, AND IT MUST BEGIN NOW, HERE AND TODAY.

All of the past, ALL OF IT, in the minds of each member, must be absolutely forgotten and discarded as if it never happened.

To accomplish this, there can be no half hearted attempt by anyone; it must be “total or nothing” by each participating BS member. It must be approached as a Zen Master would approach such a venture…”do, or do not, there is no trying.” (Sorry, I mean a Jedi master.)

All arguments of the past must be totally forgotten. All anger of the past must be totally abandoned. All feelings of offense must be totally discarded and shed like an old skin that turns to dust.

There must be an utterly new beginning. BS must be “born again.” A “new BS heaven and a new BS earth”…A new BS Forum. Business as usual must end and we all must let it die. The past must be just that…the past and dead.

You must commit to this 100% and hold NOTHING against any other person any longer or it will not work.

There can be no blaming anyone for anything. I repeat; ALL blame must be abandoned. All finger pointing must be forgotten and trashed. There must be a total amnesty for all on BS no matter if, or how, you have been offended personally. There simply can be NO BLAMING.

All accusations, insults and desire for revenge must be over and done. Any such plans must be dropped and forgotten. The slate must be totally wiped clean.

There can be NO PERSON on your list that is excluded from the above. NONE.

If you will notice, I have said nothing concerning abandoning your points of view, beliefs, life style OR your disagreement with same. Neither have I said anything about discontinuing expressing any point of view. No one is asking you to compromise your viewpoints, values or feelings concerning any subject. You ARE being asked to commit to discarding the “negitivness” of the past, and the battles of the past.

Each BS member must clean up his or her act. An example would be removing all content from a signature intended to attack or offend another BS member. All Groups attacking or aimed at another member must be deleted. All offending images (if possible to find) of current active members must be removed. All trolling “for effect” must stop. All of this must simply stop for good.

The choice as to how BS will be in the future is in your hands and your hands alone.

There you have it, Ladies and Gentlemen (and Alien non-human thing-a-ma-jigs) of BS, thus it is concluded.

Now the question is…

Do you have the courage and will power to make it happen?

The only solution for this is to go back to complete anonymity. This would involve everyone changing their s/n and the board being deleted. I don't think any of this will happen. You gotta roll with the changes. Vote with your posts. If you don't like the direction the forum is going, speak out by boycotting the forum. I did this in a form when all of the 12 year olds showed up. It wasn't as much of a protest as it was just me avoiding the annoying adolescents.

Of course, I don't think any of the things you were talking about had anything to do with me. We disagree on a lot of things, but it never got to the point of trying to harm the other person. Waving the white flag is probably going to be hard for a lot of people, you included.

Anyways, good luck with the peace offering. I'm skeptical that any amount of maturity can be returned to the boards.

Your great idea was happening anyway, pretty much everyone with a history has been driven off. Last I checked it was just the "carrot is a moron raped by shemales thread"......created by someone or other. Hell, if me and agent pro leave freak won't have anyone to disagree with.

The problem this forum suffers from is there is no proper debate. It's not really a major problem as everything either descends into quips or rants. Habitual for long term members but it gets tiring hence people abandoning and not holding interest for new members. Especially since the overall similarity in views....

I visit here out of habit, and for idle nuggets (??) apart from that this forum is dying a slow death really.

Your idea would hav ebeen a great one if it happened what?.....6 months ago when people were still around?

This was not always the case....When haw invited me here almost a year ago I was amazed at the level of strong debate....I'd often not even log in but just enjoy reading the many discussions...I really enjoyed those threads and learned a lot from them...Was a time when I hadn't visited here for a bit but when I did I was surprised to find that debate and discussion had stopped and was replaced with a full blown attack on a handful of members(rise up, prom, Beeze etc)...Rather then it being nipped in the bud this attack was allowed to continue and spread like a cancer....It spread to others like helen and myself being attacked for defending others against their attacker or as was in my case attacked for not conforming and joining in on these attacks but rather speaking up against them...

Would be great to see the forum return to how it was back then and I hope it does....I take this suggestion from Freak with a grain of salt...I hope it works but I'm doubtful that it will....
For now I'm happy to go along with it :)

I decided that there is but one way to stop the downhill trend of BS; hence, "Freak's Plan," which has worked thus far. It remains to be seen if the plan will hold, so far it is. It was, and is, radical (goes to the root) and the only way that BS could break away from past. There was simply no other way. This is not a ploy...

It doesn't seem wrong to me because it's the effect I was interested in, not the credit. I otherwise wouldn't bother with this, except that freak really has made a mess of the plan.
Here's your evidence, though:
The forum documents that Freak made this plan on March 21st 2010. The forum also documents (to reproduce the results of this: go to advanced search, type Phoenix in User Name and select "Exact name," select Find Posts: 3 months ago and older, then sort them in descending order. The results as of now are at the top of page 2.) that the "last post" on my "Members for Board Equality" group, which you can find the details of here (http://www.bullshit.com/group.php?groupid=8) was on February 7, 2010, which conclusively proves that I did, in fact, have the idea first, but I'd like to find an example on the forum.
