I like the look of them as they go by on the highway. They have a nice sound to them too. You won't find me in one though as the $40,000 starting price is crazy. I'll stick with my generic "White Truck." Doubling the price won't pull my boat to the lake any better. :D
You are right Cabo, the stripe would have to go before I bought one, but I won't as I stated above.

I got a 93 F-150 that I only drive 6 months of a year. Its barely got 100,000 miles on it and still runs great.
I will stick with that! Does all I need it for.

But no, you did NOT do that. Instead, you insulted each and every person who goes there every day to just shoot the shit.
I said first impressions are important. They are to you too. You shouldn't have been such a dick. Come back over, apologize, explain and all will be well. If you can't set your prideful side aside to do just that ---- then it will say much more about you than about the reception you received.

Quitting smoking is NOT an excuse. For the quitting, very good move. I know what it takes as good as any human. I quit last year after smoking for 40 years and I never blew up on anyone. Well maybe I slapped around a few that pissed me off, but when I crossed the line I apologized. It had nothing to do with quitting though. I was just an ass at the time.
Our words are our words and there is never an excuse. An apology does NOT remove them, but corrections or apologies are good and as I caught up on this thread you at least you sort of made up with Rec.
As far as the comment of new peeps NOT understanding the way you post, the last one I remember that had a similar posting like that was one called Boxer from TFS, and he was a son of a bitch, plain and simple. Please don't make me think of you that way.
It may NOT matter to you and that is OK as it is your right, if that is what you think then I will know in which way to proceed when around you.
