And so much for transparency. Remember the TARP payouts and the attempts to make the SEC reveal where the money went ? Well guess what was HIDDEN in the recently passed financial-reform legislation (http://www.foxbusiness.com/topics/politics/financial-reform.htm) ...

Wow Freak - I'm glad you like Zo. He's rather cool, isn't he? Doesn't pull a punch one. Did you see what he said regarding Sherrod's firing?

Holy Cow! FOX actually reported the truth this time. I still had to weed through all their partisan rhetoric crap but they actually reported the truth! Amazing!

Now if we could just get ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN and the Journolist idiots to follow suit, eh?

BBC I can understand --- lately NPR - not so much. They only THINK they're flying under the radar.

NPR???? They are the BEST! I love them. I will admit, back in the 80's and 90's they leaned democratic but now they are just plain ole non-partisan!

I love their shows like Diane Rehm, Fresh Air, Car Talk, Wait Wait, Don't tell me and All things Considerd. If you don't listen to them YOU gotta!

I love NPR

I do listen to them - have for years. I did notice that in the last say three to five years, they are back into their Commentary Talk as opposed to straight up - let the chips fall - reporting. It's Nina's influence - I know it, so do you!!

Wanna hoot - I adore Car Talk too - LOL And, All Things Considered should be required morning announcement blasts in every institution of higher learning. :D

Oh that's funny now... but hey .... I have a feeling we are alike in many ways. One Difference I see: I just cant stand some factions within the Republican Party and I tolerate the Democratic party.

You are dead on correct with respect to All things considered - awesome stuff! But do you like Diane Rehm? I think she is FANTASTIC! She asks some of the BEST questions....

As for the Commentary.... well they can be ... at times... but it depends on the show.

During her air time, I'm usually all up in something or other --- gotta go, gotta go. BUT: I can't say that I agree with her more often than NOT. Here's a little insight as to why:

More than 400 friends of Diane and WAMU 88.5 gathered at the Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C., to honor the 30-year -- and counting! -- career of Diane Rehm. Guests including Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, Congressmen Chris Van Hollen (D-Md) and John Dingell (D-Mich), American University president Neil Kerwin, and NPR personalities Susan Stamberg, Scott Simon, and Cokie Roberts enjoyed memories of Diane’s career and toasts to her signature contributions to media – civility and listening.
Check out those party goers, huh? I guess you can tell who finds her on their party line and why I feel that way.

All I can say is you'd love him if you knew him. One of the coolest guys to come on the scene in the last couple of years. Wicked funny !!

Ok, here is another part of my iritation with your stance.

You dont like Diane because of her company AND you don't listent to her????

Check YO SELF..... Diane ROCKS and there is nothing WRONG with being a liberal.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with her or that I didn't like her, did I? Nope. What I said was:

I can't say that I agree with her more often than NOT.

So, little buddy - check your own self and don't attribute words to me that I've NOT said.

And now you see why you can't seemingly get along with Conservatives --- you don't listen to what is actually being said to you. You seem to assume the other person's stance instead of taking at face value the idea imparted to you.
