Why Recycle?

Recycling does not pay of, it's not neccesery, you can't recycle something forever, we are not running out of places to put garbages on and it always take a lot of resources to recycle something, so why do we do it?

In Pa we have to recycle or get a 500.oo dollar fine. Yes it sucks its a pain in the ass and we have to put it in an open green box and when its windy the shit just blows around the streets. The future husband and i went to a city meeting about it and i mentioned about how much extra water i used in a months time that i used to rinse the shit. I got questioned as to why i rinsed it. some people don't and during the summer months the shit gets so many flys around it you don't want to walk by it. But there is always going to be one person out there that thinks seperating the trash is gonna solve the worlds problems.

NJ's the same way. Instead of washing it just put the lids back on.

We personally don't recycle. Sometimes we keep jars and old coffee cans for storage, but that's it.

There is actually a group of people with the permission of the land fill that go though some of the stuff and take things that they can use.

Immigration is not illegal, migration is, so technically that's not a problem. To become an immigrant you need to get all your paperwork, visas, and greencards and what have you. To be a migrant all's you need is a raft, a trunk, or some good hiking boots! :D

I meant that the problem was that only mexican imigrants would do it becouse it would be their only chance to get a job!

No, I mean't that if they are illegal immigrants that don't want to get sent home, maybe some evil landfill owner give them a job, with very little but they keep working becouse if they don't will the landfill owner tell the governent about them and they get sent home!:eek:

Here in Reno, we get discount on our trash bill for recycling...
Also, its cheaper to recycle aluminium, than to dig it up, lets face it, our resources arent infinite.
