Legal immagrants is a different animal all together. Do you really think that the United States of America would have such an issue with illegal immigration if every immigrant was legal? The simple answer is "NO".
America has dealt with immigration since it's conception. Immigration HAS made America the superpower that it is. HOWEVER........twenty , thirty years ago MOST immigrants did what was needed of them to become a citizen. ALL , NO....But MOST today figure it is not nessecery , hence the issue arises. Sure I blame the ASSHOLES in this country that tries to hire cheap labor immgrants . Those people need addressed.
The issue ultimately will always be.......Should we forbode the law just because those who break the law wish to come to America? I'm sorry but all most every Irish , Jew, German , Pole , Russian , Swede, Scandinavian ECT. IN THE PAST HAS respected the laws of immigration. Yes. It has been more a more recent thing, this illegal movementarian ideal. It really sucks. I was just at the Alamo less than two weeks ago, and to think how we fought and died for independence from Mexico, and to see America, who adopted Texas to their union, lay down and let Mexico slowly win Texas back illegally is disheartening. :(
