From what I gather about Aussies is that the men are quite shy round the opposite sex. When in a bar scene it isn't too uncommon for a woman to have to broker a deal with the man instead of vise verse. I have found that most Aussies I have come in contact w/ to be rather quick with wit, yet not all to be bestowed upon with great wisdom. Granted my exposure is rare and often times brief, but they all have come off as a well natured, humble, and quite rowdy bunch :D
