Hey, I lived in Nuernberg for two years. The people as a whole are very smart. Most of them speak English, however they won't say much unless you try speaking to them in German. They eat well and drink a lot of beer. Oh Yeah, the Women are Bull Headed as Hell.....!:p

I think of weird bands like Rammstein, Einsturden Noibauten (I have no idea if that is spelled right) and also i think of David Hasselhoff, whom Germans love. Basically I think of people dressed all Matrix-style with slicked-back hair and blue eyes. Nihilistic Neitzche quoters. And the Volkswagon guy on tv who "unpimps the auto." Combat boots. I believe all Germans wear some type of combat boot, and probably a full-body style of underwear. Heidi Klum. BMW. Jagermeister and wonderful, abbey-style "Bier." Aus Gezeich Nicht, er some shit like that. Bratwurst, frankfurter, hamburger. My father inlaw (who is Iranian) insists that Auschwitz really was just a regular P.O.W. camp, and maybe a COUPLE people died...Overall, Adolf Hitler aside, I like what I comes outta Germany.

let's see...beer, bmw, mercedes trucks (fuck yeah!), beer, redlight districts, beer, warm wine (awesome at x-mas), porsche, vw's, beer, octoberfest in munich, AUTOBAHN!!!...oh yeah, did i mention the best fuckin beer in the world?!:D
was stationed in frankfurt in the mid-80's btw...before the wall came down:)

yep must say beer is beloved, but unfortunately the youth (i'm saying this like i'm old) are getting way to americanized which would be great if german culture wasn't starting to get lost in the process but hey its all a part of globalization i guess...

I was in Germany in the 80's as well. My father was stationed at Hahn AFB. I have been to Frankfurt many times.
