I'm searching for a new virus protection. I am a gamer who plays alot of rpg games. I have alot of pictures that I share online with family. I have used norton and I think it takes up way too much space for protection. I hate the protection service that comes with my server because it only ask you if you want to prroceed with a download. It doesn't say whether it is a high risk or not. I am running virus keeper 2007 right now. I'm thinking about subscribing for a year. Any comments from anyone on what they think is the best protection for the money? My trial:confused: will expire a week from today. Thanks.

I think I tried that one. Does it let you know if your downloads are a high risk, medium, or low risk?

not sure about the paid version (pro), the free one don't...but then again, like i've said, i haven't had a problem with it since i first installed it...didn't care for norton, too invasive of your system, and i still got a virus with it

AVG free? You haven't been getting the notice that it's going to be discontinued?

Any service which requires you to pay a monthly or annual fee is a rip-off
I use ComputerAssociates which is free if you have an sbc/att contract.
or yahoo email
