Ok, as it turns out third world countries are ahead of us in math and science, i know this, not only by stats, but by personal experience...
I cant believ compared to middle school, seventh graders in mexico, are at the level of freshmen, and in some areas up to the level of sophmores!!

Im not reffering to super geniouses, im reffering to average classes!!

not at all...it's all about the responsibility...unfortunately in this country, parents are too fucking lazy to take a hand in their childrens' education. instead of being parents, they park the kids in front of the idiot box with what ever platform that kid's addicted to at the time instead of monitoring grades and finding out what the instructors are teaching...teachers are more interested in training personal politics instead of the subjects they were hired to teach, or how much they're making....take a look at what the us spends on public education compared to the rest of the world...take a look at this site:

you'll find that even now, we still spend more on ed that on the war...the reason we're going downhill, is due to a decided lack of responsibility:(
