So why is there an addiction to ANGRY BIRDS?

I love it and so do many ,..... what I want to know is why?

What is so special about this game? Why do I hear about them on almost all news media? Is there some corporate scam? I feel so.

Its just a fucking game for Christ's sakes but I am hearing references to it on almost all news media!

Angry birds came out for apple, on shiny shiny touchscreens.

Can't play any real games on their stuff + don't shut up about technology + are still smug about touchscreens.

Angry birds was fun on my android phone for a while, but it gets kind of repetitive and I don't really play it much anymore. Alchemy is pretty fun. Thing is mobile phone games serve only for a person to go "ooh cool" for a while, and angry birds does so perfectly.

Got Angry Birds on my computer.
Played it twice and trashed it because it bored the bejeezus outa me.

The only game I have on my phone is cribbage.
Not so much cool but more of me being a cribbage addict.
