Whenever someone asks you why you enjoy drinking or why it's fun or whatever... the truth is that it's a shot of ignorance. The higher the dose, the higher the ignorance level.
At tiny doses, you can ignore very minor aspects of your environment that you hardly notice anyway - a fly buzzing past you, a slight change in lighting/temperature, or the ticking of a clock.
At small doses, you can ignore a few of life's many annoyances, such as awkward slience, wasted time in the checkout line, and noisy neighbors.
At moderate doses, you ignore things that may be of importance like scenes of a movie, the price of your bar tab, and the driver that you almost hit at an intersection.
At high doses, you ignore that your date from the bar looks like something out of Tales From the Crypt, you've lost your pants, the toilet, and maybe even a final resting spot...
Then at maximum dose, you ignore everything, which means....
................................................
..... uh... WTF happened and ooooh my head....
Food (or drink) for thought...
