This really made my day. Apparently Hugo Chavez is in critical condition in a Cuban hospital. I hope they are digging a hole in the ground for this asshole. All the despots of the world will have to find a new friend if this slimebag dies.

Chavez in critical condition (http://latino.foxnews.com/latino/news/2011/06/25/report-hugo-chavez-in-critical-condition-in-cuba/#ixzz1QJt1dSw9)

Hugo Chávez extended stay in a Cuban hospital is because he is in critical condition, according to a report in El Nuevo Herald.

The Venezuelan president, who was last seen in public June 9 and last heard from on June 12, on a phone call with Venezuelan state television, was said to have been treated for a pelvic abscess in Cuba.

You know, if I was so sick that I needed major surgery, Cuba is the last place I would go to get it done. I'm sure they have skilled surgeons, but decades of communism have left the country with severe shortages of medical supplies and equipment.

I'm sure Chavez went there as a propaganda ploy to show how advanced the medical system is there and how great socialism is. That apparently has backfired and may cost him his life. What a fool.

Seriously, what was he 'into' that caused a pelvic abscess in the first place? Only thing I can see via the interwebs is prostrate cancer problems. That and renal 'attachments'. God does indeed have a wacky sense of humor if that be the case.

Cancer survival rate in Cuba? Who the hell knows in a nation where the government cronies are playing with the numbers to hoodwink both their citizens and other nations who see them as out of the norm.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh well - sucks to be you Hugo.

WOW - Fox acutually got something right!!! Oh,.. wait,... its international news not domestic LOL LOL LOL

So what the F what about Hugo? All the USA wants is his countries oil.

He was and still is a showman with little more than pomp and circumstance to prop up his circus tent.

Let him rot.

Let him rot - literally - from the inside out. Serves the creepazoid right. As I said, God has a wicked sense of humor.

I don't think the US Diplomatic Corps cares so much for his oil as they care that he spouts the most inane crap when it comes to democracy. So many, in the past few years, have been willfully blind as to what he was doing with his country and the policies he'd put in place since taking office. Taking over and shutting down the news agencies pretty much outed him as the dictatorial slug he really was all along.

He just wasn't as slick as he thought he was. Some of us could see it right away - some it took time. Hopefully though the ones that were yucking it up then are quieter now. In fact, I do believe that's the case.

Let me clarify: I dont wish pain on anyone and I certainly don't want people to suffer before death. To wish that is just cruel and makes you no better than the thing despised.

I believe that the only reason the USA has cared anything other than a rats turd about Venezuela is because of the oil. Anyone who says different is either lying or ignorant of current policy.

Or, they look at the situation with something other than by the coloring of corporate greed, say in terms of the global nations and how they are interacting both on the social and democratically held principles that seem to be the desire of all free people or those yearning to be free.

Money and fame come and go; freedom lasts only as long as the governed ensure that no one human has the ability to dictate the terms of the many's existence.

Am I the only one not missing that the Venezuela government denies Chavez's condition, and is charging that it's a ploy by western media to destabilize the Venezuelan Government?

I'd take that with a grain of salt, but it's nice to get both sides, even if the other side is ridiculous.

What I really must laugh my ass off about, though, is that this was posted in the Crimes Against Humanity forum. Wow Limbo, didn't know you thought so highly of Hugo.

Anyone who is an ally of murderous dictators like Castro is complicit in the crimes they comit and have committed. Besides being a murderous dictator himself, Casto was a friend and ally of the soviet communists who murdered millions.

Well yeah, it's all about the oil, but only because he wants it that way - jumping on board with morons like Ahmedenijad just to push the price of oil up and win votes from his massively impoverished citizens. I don't think that anyone would miss his antics.

I agree. I hope Hugo & others fall by the wayside and for a democracy spring for the Americas!

I was kidding. I don't think you ACTUALLY support Chavez. Let's face it, the man was a nut. It's time for him, and others like him, to move the hell out of the way so they can quit smearing shit all over the Communist Manifesto. We need a lot less Kim Jong-Il's and Hugo Chavez's and more people who interpret Marx's works this way:

Looks like the comandante has cancer:

Venezuela army assures calm despite Chavez cancer (http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/07/01/us-venezuela-chavez-idUSTRE75T5YI20110701)

Not only has he finally admitted he is seriously ill with cancer, but he is stuck in Cuba for medical treatment. Oh, the sweet irony. Of course the average schmuck can't even get an aspirin in Cuba due to shortages of medical supplies, but Chavez will get whatever he needs since some people are more "equal" than others in the communist system.
