They say that this comercial is homophobic and hurtful, so the snickers company withdrew the comercial and apologised. i call BULLSHIT!!!!!!! :mad: leave it to a few assholes to ruin the fun of a harmless comercial for the rest of us.... you know i think this country is going to shit....

i think so too!!! I dont see anything "homophobic" about it...Would women be offended if the comercial involved a man crying or watching a chick flick... and then ripping out some chest hair? Snickers should have stood their ground..

I think that the comercial was supposed to be homophobic, but in a fun way. I voted for No, but there's a lot of companys and people out there who are homophobic, even if most of'em don't do comercials.

Interestingly enough, there are people on the other side no doubt saying that the public display of a same-sex kiss or something close to it brings us closer to having gay porn shown on prime time TV or some shit.

Okay, homophobic maybe, but homo-hatred no. People are forgetting the meaning of the word "phobia" here. I know people who are arachnophobic, and while they might cower in fear because of spiders, I can't say I've ever seen anyone go up to a spider and start beating the shit out of it, or go around looking for spiders to kill.

So maybe hating and beating up gay people doesn't make you a homophobic; maybe it just makes you an asshole.
