Would it surprise you that some random person could log on to this forum, post a new thread about how her 4-year-old son was just killed by a drunk driver, for instance, and maybe a couple of people would post a reply, slowly over time, maybe a handful more...

But a random person could log on and simply say "I am a Mormon" or "I like George Bush", and INSTANTLY this mob of at least 6 regular opponants of statements like this would jump on top of this post sword-in-hand, followed by their opposites who would fight for the first guy, and by the time the day was up, the thread would be like 10 pages long!

I mean, look at the numbers, over 4,500 posts so far on religion and abortion, 2,000+ on politics, while under 1,000 for things like "inspiration", "computers", news, sports, movies, television...

Controversy RULES the site, folks! Why blog when it's so much more fun to ARGUE?

It's only controversial to a select few who actually give a rats ass.

Hey I don't anyone else comes to BS.com to be bored, might as well talk some shit while we are here.

I get bored, since it's day here when you have night, so only on late afternoons and mornings is it anyone online.

Only if you don't know the issue and listen to pseudo-scientists.
