What are you listening to right now?
Me, listening to - Phish: "Frankenstein," live version, kicks ass.
Beatles - Here Comes the Sun, and before that some Journey, and I'm downloading some Boys Night Out, Recieving End of Sirens, Chris Brown, and Britney Spears.
The first was appropriate since I woke up way too early this morning and the rest were stuck in my head from some people I met last night (Heather, Lynsey, April, and her boyfriend who had the melody for Here Comes the Sun tattoed on his arm) at Peabody's before I was told to leave since I brought someone a cup of ice (since all of their ice had melted) which I then found that bringing someone a cup of ice is against the bar's policy! Crazy, but understandable. Anyway, back to some just chill background music now by Explosions in the Sky.

I'm listening to one of the great Simpsons episodes playing in the background on my computer. So much more interesting than some pointless song:rolleyes:

Look up Eva Cassidy. "My Man Dont Love Me" on Blues Alley or "The Letter"
She was a lovely Washingtonian girl. Her voice is fantastic.

Lords of Acid, Leonard Cohen, Southern Culture on the Skids.
I listen to a pretty eclectic group of stuff. One of my long time faves: Deep Forest pygmy techno - cool stuff.

Yes, the musical quality of this country has been flushed down the toilet. That's why I only ever listen to the oldies station when I'm driving. It'd be nice to see that kind of music come back into popularity. Something with a good uplifting beat to it that you can sing along to with your entire family.

Hey some of the best rock and roll out there was recorded by druggies. The Beatles, the Doors, the Stones I can go on and on.

Are you trying to justify your addictions? You do know that only makes things worse, right?

I'm listening to "Trust you Forever". It's tradition for me to sing along with a few songs just before Church to warm up my vocal cords, usually for choir but even when choir's out, like in the summer.

Not music right now, but listening to a "Radio Drama" of a great Sci-fi book called "Canticle for Leibowitz." If you want to hear it, check out...
A Canticle for Liebowitz by Walter Miller Jr.,
A radio series in 15 parts.
NPR did this up in 1981...guess who taped it?
Let's see if we can stream it as MP3 files! (Argh! and Drat! Unfortunately, parts 13 & 14 seem to have gone walkabout. That'll teach me to move around too much. The source tape is still being sought!)
