I am a beer drinker myself but I had to get rid of my 'beer belly', and did it quite effortless with a little diet and switching to rum one day a week only. I drink the cheap 'Kingston' brand and mix it with coke. Comes out crap-tacular. I might try your brand one day if it isn't very expensive.

That's not bad, if it taste any better. Of course, I don't drink rums or whiskeys straight anyway, I mix them with better tasting stuff, so my 'gross' rum doesn't bother me much, and I will have forgotten about it the next morning anyway...

The problem with your rum is it is full of sugar (with artificial coconut flavoring). This rum is not. Most people who drink want the effect of alcohol and drink accordingly to obtain the effect. Since it takes less of this alcohol to obtain the effect you actually consume less calories (because a little goes a long way). Bonus: You get to enjoy the flavor of the alcohol at the same time.
