Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia Dead at 79“He was an extraordinary individual and jurist, admired and treasured by his colleagues,” Chief Justice Roberts said in the statement. “His passing is a great loss to the Court and the country he so loyally served. Unfortunately, Obama may have the chance to nominate a liberal judge to do more damages to this country before he leaves the office. I hope the Senate will block Obama's appointment from being voted on the floor and wait until the next president.
