I wasn't aware that he had said that. I said the same thing here on the forum a while back.
Here is a list of the recognized "constants" (40 in total): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_constant
There we see 40 mathematical constants, all working in perfect harmony. If any of them was off by even a tiny bit, the Universe we know and love wouldn't be able to exist. If we chalk that up to random chance as well, that means -- whew, the odds don't look good for intelligent man at all! And yet...here we are! I'm glad that so many unbelievably lucky things happened to allow for my existence.

If you think of all the rain that COULD have fallen today, we would be up to our necks in water.

P.S. You are such a goof
I think that many scholars in the area of physics and chemistry are NOT atheists for reasons like what we have been discussing. Here is an interesting quote I found yesterday:
That mirrors my experience at university. Atheist and agnostics are definitely more commonplace in the arts, not the sciences. While many scientists are not atheists, some do have somewhat unorthodox views of what God is like.Robert Griffith, a member of our U.S. Academy of Sciences, Otto Stern professor of physics at Carnegie Mellon University received one of the most coveted awards of the American Physical Society in 1984 on his work in physical mechanics and thermodynamics. Physics Today said he is an evangelical Christian who is an amateur theologian and who helps teach a course on Christianity and science.
He recently said:
If we need an atheist for a debate, I'd go to the philosophy departmentthe physics department isn't much use.
At Berkeley University, among 55 chemistry professors, we only had one who was willing to openly identify himself as an atheist, my good friend Bob, with whom I still have many discussions about spiritual things.

Dream on boy.
Amazing how you twist the facts to suit your agenda. If you twist a fact son it becomes a lie.

You are not talking about published, peer reviewed and accepted scientists son, you are talking about Creationists and other ignorant religiously oriented people.
They aren't "scientists" and never will be.
These are the ones that are so totally ignored within their hoped for peer group that they turn to Christianity because their "credentials" are held in awe by the ignorant and uneducated and like a minister, nothing they say has a whiff of shit on it.
Finally they have the approbation they think they deserve.
Welcome to the flock you fine geologist you, or physicist, chemist, biologist...whatever
I have met a few...they are pathetic.

You never say anything of substance, at least not so far here on this website. You are living in your own twisted dream world and you think that the people you "hang out" with represent the mainstream. You are the epitome of a social misfit and geek.
Apart from your bullshit survey of the NAS (which you were caught red handed lying about), what actual facts have you given to back up any of your statements? I think we should start calling you owlafallacy. All bullshit and no substance. You have even managed to piss off other atheists on this site.
I think you will have the effect of driving people away from your cause with your caustic personality and extreme viewpoints. In that sense, I wish you all the best on your crusade.

Your demonstrations of a complete lack of self-awareness and your demonstrated faith and belief in the mythological and superstitious, counter to all widely published common information...is satisfactory...thank you.
