I saw this thread when I was looking at who was online. Yes it's an old one, so sue me for bumping it.
Yes Virginia, this site is having problems. Technical, no NOT so much. The problems here are what are facing so many social media sites and forums. The problem is people. People want what they want and when they don't get it, they quit. What does that really mean?
Well when someone posts a thought/idea/belief, they want others to agree or just comment on it but when other posters give then hell for the post they get upset. Enough times of that and the poster leaves and never returns. Or as in the case of some, they only return to catch hell again and say heck with it for sure or just to be a smart ass and blame the downfall on who does contribute. Complaints from the old guard go on at every site. It's NOT what it used to be. These new posters post poorly. <<That was just a generic word I used as there are many that are used to try to blame the newbies of the failure of the site. The fact is the complainers are the ones that quit, the complainers are the ones that don't post anything interesting anymore because they either ran out of ideas or don't like someone with a different idea or they just can't post anything of quality anymore period.
So that keeps you from posting what you want huh? Either way that is horseshit. If you want to post something, you do. If you don't contribute, then blame yourself for the failure of the site. Sure you can blame the "others", hell you can blame me, I sure don't mind, but it is the quitters/slackers who let the site become boring at times because they are the ones NOT posting.
One, no two or three blame the latest members for the down turn in the quality of the site. Just like they did before, but at least they didn't quit those times because they wanted to debate/have fun or just generally bullshit, but they gave up and quit. Did they get their feelings hurt, sure some did. Most who did got back what they dished out. Some, well maybe another poster abused them and those I can understand. It is hard to take crap from an idiot. I guess it is easier to quit than to stand your ground.
Some left because their life became to complicated or busy and for those I wish the best.
I almost quit once, for more reasons than I put down in words, but it never would be from some ass jack trying to abuse me.
I guess another reason I pulled this old thread up was a post by admin. I guess one did exist once!
Another was that pretty picture, aw damn, don't get me started on that.....Now that was a quality post!
