Abortion is disgusting! However....

Hiya, Im new and ive read a few articles on abortion including average joes.

I am 15 and i new a girl who got pregnent in year seven and she came from a derelict part of town living in a rundown old pub. She met this guy at a mates party and they got on a little too well.
About a week later she told me she was pregnant and asked if i knew what she could do

Of course there was no chance of being able to keep the baby, I mean if youd seen the state she live in, you wouldnt allow any babies to live there, but i told her that could she consider abortion?

She found a couple who would be able to adopt but they broke up a week later and my mate was unable to find another couple to adopt.

I told her to go through the pregnancy and by then there would be another couple to adopt and if there wasnt then she could always leave it on the doorstep of a nunnery or something but she told me that shed already booked a termination.

I kinda fell out with her for a bit. I told her that abortion was a disgusting thing and if she thought that murdering an unborn child was the answer to her problems then she was very wrong because i would remind her everyday for the rest of her life!

This may sound harsh and i regreted saying it afterwards as i could understand the condition she was in but i was 13 so i guess i didnt really know any better

But what i said really hit her hard because three months later she came to school one day and it was non uni day and i could see i bump, not huge but noticable and she told me she was having the baby

I helped her through it all and by the time she was ready to give birth she was quite pleased and she knew she could raise the baby with the help of her family as social services had moved them to a much better place.

A year later i saw her and her baby girl Amy in the street i went to say hi and she told me id ruined her life.

Obviously i was confused because the last time id seen her she was happy that shed be having a kid but she said to me that she had no chance of ever getting a boyfriend again and she would be on benefits for the rest of her life because she had no education and she wouldnt be able to get a job.

I knew where she was coming from i mean you really have to think dont you.

If your daughter (at the age of 12!) told you she was pregnant youd hit the roof right and insist on either abortion or adoption, my mate tried adoption, didnt work she tried abortion and it was my fault that she didnt do that but she said that she wouldnt have been able to go through with it but all the same it is a very hard decision.


I can easily say now that i would never murder an unborn child and i think that if it couldve been prevented then it is the motherb AND fathers problem but i think that even if it were me and id gotten raped or very drunk i dont know for surewether id keep it

Me too. I'll say start with about all the ignorant F'ing politicians in our country. We would have been better off with most of the ones from the last 30-40 years NOT having been here.

It is like the politicians are all born from Demon seed. Damned idiots.

Can we at least abort nearly every law these fools have made over the last 40 years. We would be better off.
