Chuck will never admit it I don't think, but Bruce would take him in a real fight. Here is the full fight take and yes it is just a movie, but watch the hand speed and leg speed of Bruce Lee. He was 30% faster than Chuck and learned more by mixing styles than Chuck did. Chuck was physically stronger, but speed and knowledge wins 98 % of the time.

He has proven to be probably the best American Karate Champion ever and that says a lot for Chuck. Howard Jackson would contend as he was a Karate , Kick Boxing and Boxing champion. He was good. I will tell you Chuck can strike with power but his legs are devestating if he connects with a straight kick. He still had it 20 years ago, I bet he still does.

He would never say in public that he could take Bruce back in the day, but he would in private. A Champion can do no less. Show respect in public, but be confidently a winner in private.



I love me some Chuck Norris, but Bruce Lee was the real deal NOT just an actor like some think. I have personally known but 2 men who would most likely take him. One for sure, one maybe.

Don't get me wrong, I would take either to stand with me in a real fight anyday and know that I had someone who was tougher than me to stand with. I know Bruce would have been still and Chuck probably would be if he hasn't laid down on his past merits. I wonder at his age if he still trains as he would need to. I bet he mostly does. But I'd still have confidence in his ability even at 70 years old.

Besides Chuck is still living and we know Mt. Rushmore's granite is NOT strong enough for his beard so he declined to be put on there. but true.
