I'm starting to believe that the NCAA is the most unfair, greedy, bastards in the world. First off the BCS system needs to be thrown away. The division 1,division 2, and division 3 leagues need to be redone too be fair to smaller colleges. It's unfair how non bcs teams can never win a national championship because the ncaa makes more money that way. It's unfair that division 2 teams can only give half the scholarships and division 3 can't give any. The players who play division 3 in my opinion are just as good as any other players in division 2 or 3 and they do it for no scholarship money. Take this for instance. Maryville College, a division 3 team. before the 1950's would play teams outside of division 3 like the University of Tennessee and won. Now because of scholarship restrictions they can't even compete with other division 3 teams. I understand the divisions are to keep schools from just concentrating on one sport, but now it's turned into a money racket for profiting of collegian athletes. The NAIA is the only alternative and the ncaa and allows scholarships to every team, but unfortunately it will be gone in a few years basically because they were smothered out by the ncaa. A lot of good athletes go through highs chool and are not able to get a scholarship at a division 1 school and are either forced to either take a partial scholarship, not a scholarship at all or they just stop playing. personally I think that it should be by amount of students enrolled in a school to divide teams up into divisions, no scholarship restrictions, and no bcs. Thanks for listening to my rant.
