The average response time to a 911 call is 4 - 6 min. The response time of a .44 magnum 240 gr bullet is approx. 1400 ft/sec.

Now to get back on topic..........................

    http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2012/...electric-bill/

This is a little more info on the cost involved in this new regulation................

Last week the U.S. Energy Information Administration reported a shocking drop in power sector coal consumption in the first quarter of 2012. Coal-fired power plants are now generating just 36 percent of U.S. electricity, versus 44.6 percent just one year ago.

Last week PJM Interconnection, the company that operates the electric grid for 13 states (Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia) held its 2015 capacity auction. These are the first real, market prices that take Obama’s most recent anti-coal regulations into account, and they prove that he is keeping his 2008 campaign promise to make electricity prices “necessarily skyrocket.”

It is painfully obvious that OBUMMER dosen't give two shits about the citizens of this country.
He and the rest of the fat cats in Washington don't see the pain in the wallet 'cause their wallet is FAT.
Chu wants gasoline prices to be at the level that they are in Europe, he dosn't care 'cause he dosn't drive a car!!

It's time to put these assholes out of the Government Business.

    In local news........................

The cost of this conversion will, of course, be paid for by the "customers" of Lakeland eledtric.
I say "customers" because we the "customers" of Lakeland Electric have NO choice when it comes to
who provides our service, nor do we have any say when it comes to how that service is provided.
If you don't like Shell gasoline, you can buy gasoline from any number of other providers.
Don't like you home phone provider??? Then change it, it's easy to pick a number of any other that do the same job, probably better!
Don't like what Lakeland Electric charges you for you power?? TOUGH SHIT!!
Don't like what they are doing with the fuel charges they pass on to you??

To be totally honest however, It's not their fault.
They provide a service, they have a territory they cover, and they don't have to allow other power companies
to provide service therefore there is no competition to regulate prices.

    Ok.............................{END RANT}
You can't fix stupid!!!! BUTT you can NUMB it with a 2x4
