    Thumbs down

I've seen that video before. I'm not sure if the people that created it realized what they were putting together or not, but it's not the Mickey Mouse Club tossing out candy to kids. IT IS WAR!! Think back to all of our own people (if you're american) we lost during the civil war, the dumbest of the dumb. Of course we can't go back and make a video of clips for it, but if we were able to, the song would last longer than "in a gadda da vidda". I think we have overstayed our welcome there and should have been gone long ago, but creating this video for the sole purpose of harvesting hatred is shitty.

Harvesting hatred? Yeah i can see your point totally. However it also brings awareness of the global hatred created by that war. Those pictures of the children suffering break my heart.
Don't get me wrong Saddam was a supremely evil being! Good riddance i say, but what has now been unleashed is demonic.

You could be able to make video of clips. The camera was already invented and there's several photos from the war.
For some reason, I look like Ben Stiller...

    Thanks for nothing.

The (american) civil war was from 1861–1865. Color photo developing wasn't readily available until 1861, and although black & white photograph developing was available as far back as the 1820's, the equipment was not nearly as convenient and affordable as what we have today, or rather, as far back as the early 1900s.

While there are some photos available that people of the time period were able to produce with their archaic photography equipment and carefully preserve, which we could theoretically use to make a less than half-assed video along the lines of the above, it's irrelevant to the much larger point my post was trying to make, which is that making a collage of bloody scenes from one war in order to make it seem worse/comparable to any other war in history (whereas ALL wars have similar horrific images) is asinine. There are plenty of better methods for making a political statement.

Watching pictures of children suffering would break any person's heart unless they are just plain heartless. Which was the purpose of the video, to make people cry a river over the propoganda, then turn a fist of hatred towards George Bush/Tony Blair/Cond. Rice/José María Aznar, etc., and ignore the Iraqi, Iranian, Syrian, Lebanese, etc. extremists who are slaughtering everyone over there.

amen...if you'll excuse the religeous reference...unfortunately, it seems the thread starter is only interested in fomenting such propaganda for reasons of his own...i'm not a big fan of conspiracy theories, tho there are so many out there for everything from ufo's to the assasination of jfk...just as unfortunately, these theories only target the us government...

That, or, he buys into this shit without thinking it over carefully and has become misguided (no offense unclepops)... of course, I don't think I'd put this into the conspiracy category, just more effort to derail the war.
